Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior experience to enroll?
No. Our Foundations track starts from conditioning and basic mechanics. You can progress to intermediate and advanced modules as you gain confidence.
Are materials included in the tuition?
Online courses list suggested stems and tools to source locally. On-campus and hybrid formats include practice stems and shared studio mechanics, with a small materials fee noted in each listing.
Do you use floral foam?
No. We teach foam-free methods exclusively. You’ll learn wire armatures, chicken wire, water sources, and reusable vessels to protect waterways and reduce waste.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a Claridad Atelier certificate noting completed modules and learning outcomes. It’s a record of training, not a state license.
What is your refund policy?
Online courses: full refund within 7 days if under 15% content viewed. On-campus: 80% refund up to 14 days before start; 0–14 days: 30% refund due to stem ordering. See Terms for specifics.
How do critiques work?
Submit photos or sketches of your work for guided feedback on proportion, line, and focal hierarchy. We keep critiques constructive and focused on actions.
Can I balance courses with a full-time job?
Yes. Online modules are self-paced with suggested weekly rhythms. Hybrid programs pair weekend intensives with short weekday tasks.
Do you help with sourcing seasonal stems?
We provide a sourcing calendar, vendor templates, and guidance for local farms. For weddings modules, we cover recipe building and substitution strategies.
